ERROR 416: how a status code became the first drop
A logo on a shirt is not a position. An error code is.
416 is what a server returns when the range you asked for cannot be served. Somebody decided a range of ages could not be satisfied either, so we printed the code and left the label empty.
Nothing on the garment explains it. Whoever knows it, knows it, and that is the entire mechanic: the shirt sorts the room without saying a word.
The first run is print on demand, because pretending to have volume we do not have would be its own kind of overclaiming. Production moves to a Ukrainian manufacturer once the numbers are real, and the shop lives on this site rather than on a marketplace.
Margin goes back into the season. Not into ads for the merch.
